2019 Scarlet, Gray and Green Leadership Awards

On April 12, student leaders across Ohio State were recognized for their leadership efforts at the Student Leadership Awards ceremony. Recognized for their dedication to improving sustainability efforts on campus, the recipients of the 2019 Scarlet, Gray, and Green Leadership Award are Dominique Hadad, Marie McConnell, Matthew Griffin and Michaela Master.
Dominique is an Industrial and Systems Engineering major. She has held a student intern position within Student Life Energy Management and Sustainability, and with Ohio State Energy Partners. She has been heavily involved with the Undergraduate Student Government’s Sustainability Committee, currently serving as the Director of Sustainability.
Marie is a student majoring in Environmental Policy and Decision Making . Marie’s dedication to sustainability runs deep as she serves as the Vice President of the Climate Reality Project at Ohio State. She also is the President of the Student Sustainability Council, along with the Planning Committee Chair for Time For Change Week.
Matthew is a fourth year Environment, Economy, Development, and Sustainability major who has been involved with various student sustainability initiatives on campus including serving as President of Net Impact. He is a Student Intern in the Department of Athletics and Business Advancement. Matthew is also a cohost for the Between the Green podcast.
Michaela is majoring in Environment, Economy, Development, and Sustainability and has shown her dedication to sustainability initiatives starting with her role as Bowen House Activities Council Sustainability Coordinator and Sustainability Committee Chair. She was also the Pay It Forward Spring Into Service Co-Chair and a Net Impact Project Lead.
