Campus Sustainability Month

Campus Sustainability Month is FINALLY here! Sponsored by AASHE (Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education), this month-long campaign serves as a platform for universities and colleges to involve and inspire students. By compelling sustainability to be more visible, students are encouraged to strive and interest others in creating a more economically, socially and environmentally-friendly world. To kick off this month-long initiative, eighteen Ohio State students attended AASHE's national conference in Pittsburgh. They participated in many sessions that serviced the sharing of ideas, knowledge and achievements about sustainability from other students, faculty and staff.
Overall, Campus Sustainability Month is designed to bring universities together, invite them to be good stewards, and leave everyone feeling encouraged about what their next steps in sustainability will be.
