Real Food at OSU

University Dining services and Energy Management and Sustainability met with Ohio State partners to share sustainable food stories and recipes. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream, Crimson Cup Coffee and Tea, Shagbark Seed & Mill and Great River Organics attended. Samples served included Crimson Cup coffee and samples provided by Dining services included sweet potato and kale lasagna with Great River Organics ingredients and stone-ground grit pudding cake with Jeni’s ice cream and Shagbark cornmeal.  These companies are dedicated to providing local, responsible ingredients with the goal of letting customers know exactly where their food is coming from.
