Recycling Games

November 4, 2015

Energy Management and Sustainability student interns visited the RPAC, Park Stradley, and Bowen House to host recycling games and give away cool prizes. The games are designed to test students on their knowledge of materials that can be recycled at Ohio. Participants are given an object and asked to place it in either a “recycling” or “trash” box. Students were interested to learn about some items that are not recyclable at Ohio State, including coffee cups, clamshells, and plastic silverware.  Participants received a Green Buckeyes reusable bottle and a picture with our Brutus for their efforts! Interns will continue the games during the 2016 semester and are encouraged to follow @GreenBuckeyes on Twitter to learn when and where on campus we will host games.
